Woolworths introduces the ‘Beauty Trend Collective’ - a group of five influential individuals with extensive beauty expertise who’ll be showcasing the Woolworths beauty offering this year.

Woolworths’ premium beauty offering in store and online has seen the retailer firmly claim its place as the one-stop- destination for an impressive collection of WBeauty products alongside the world’s leading luxury beauty brands, covering makeup, skincare and fragrance.

Each of the Beauty Trend Collective members will, via their social media platforms, afford an invaluable insights and offer a fresh and informed take on the retailer’s extensive beauty offering.

Meet the five influential Beauty Trend Collective members

Cynthia Gwebu.

South African YouTube sensation Cynthia has a dedicated fandom who follows her every well-manicured move. Having worked as a Junior Beauty Editor and Social Media Manager for one of South Africa’s biggest online beauty communities, Cynthia has immense beauty industry credibility and a deep-rooted passion for everything beauty-related.

Candice-Lee Kannemeyer.

Industry heavyweight Candice is a beauty-obsessed writer, stylist and speaker who loves nothing more than sharing her extensive beauty knowledge via her highly acclaimed blog “In My Bag”. 

Having worked in the fashion and beauty industry for more than 15 years as Beauty Editor for top glossies, Candice is a specialist in the field and her word is highly respected by beauties around the country.

Rushana Isaacs.

Working as a professional makeup artist and beauty guru, Isaacs is a YouTube hit with her widely followed ‘How-To’ rich makeup channel. She also shares make-up tips via Instagram and is well-known for her striking and inventive looks. 

Having worked at Calvin Klein as their in-house makeup artist and events manager, Isaacs knows and loves the beauty industry well, adding value to beauty-lovers countrywide.

Makeup artist to the stars, Clara Chimeloane has worked with countless SA icons, including Nomzamo Mbatha, Thembi Seete, Pearl Modiadie and Bonang Matheba. Clara’s was also nominated for the 2016 Make Up Artist Southern Africa award at the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards.

A recognisable face amongst local A-lists, Mashishi is the go-to- guy for makeup mastery and has been transforming local and international celebs’ red carpet looks for years. Having carved a successful career out of what he loves most, Mashishi has even had the honour of working with the late Nelson Mandela.
