At the opening of Soweto Fashion (SFW)  Week last night, designers revealed a sneak peak of what they’ll be showcasing this Autumn/Winter.

Paying tribute to the mother of the nation, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, the theme for SFW A/W 19 is strictly African designs.

“SFW is focused on promoting authentic Africa within cutting- edge clothing and accessory designs. But this season, the original designs to be shown are specifically inspired by Winnie Mandela’s own personal fashion style and preferences – in every aspect from colour pallets to clothing and accessory styles,” says Stephen Manzini, founder of SFW.
