Last night was the official opening for designers to showcase their Autumn Winter range at the Soweto Fashion Week.

Fashion lovers gathered at the Soweto Theatre to celebrate Africa Day through colour and print.

The theme was inspired by Africa month and lot of talent was showcased.

Trendy modest style you can rock for an interview

Opening the show with ravishing African printed dresses, with a touch of leather and lemon coloured dresses was Verdetto Couture.

Konka Republic followed by first showing solidarity to the latest brutal abuse and killings of women that have been going on in South Africa. Their collection consisted of denim with leather.

Sibu FDB wowed the crowed with a male maxi dress as part of his collection.

Darling hair pieces were used to create artistic and colourful hairdos that could make you stand out this season. Sweet Couture, KMD, Nokwakha, Reason V Designs and Vohni Couture also showcased their collection. Soweto Fashion Week is still on until May 28. Tonight’s lineup includes Nicostyle, Classy Couture, and House of Noir just to name a few.
