While we were ecstatic about seeing local designers take to the runway to showcase their latest collections, at the last minute the organizers of Soweto Fashion Week cancelled the first night’s show.

Less than 2 hours before show, SFW released a statement, stating that there will be show on May 31 and will proceed today due to the weather and "circumstance beyond control."

Some who were keen on seeing last night’s show felt disappointed and although their tickets are valid for tonight, they were not planning on attending the Friday show.

What happens if you bought tickets for tonight & cannot attend tomorrow?

This morning, SFW took it to social media to assure people that tonight's show is going to be "lit".

All the designers who were scheduled to showcase last night shall be taking to the runway tonight at Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown, Soweto.
