Fashion Development Programme brings another exciting annual Durban Fashion Fair (DFF) 2017 where over 40 designers – including seven from Africa – will take on the ramp in 16 shows at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre from August 23 to August 25.

Presented by the eThekwini Municipality, the DFF will be followed by DFF Recognition Awards Show on August 26, which honours and recognises the top designers and models taking part in the #DFF2017. DFF is now in its sixth year, bringing out the very best in local fashion with top class shows that allow local creatives to strut their stuff alongside the best in the world.

Hidden talent has been discovered to put Durban on the fashion map as well as ensure that when it comes to design, the city is a top contender. The eThekwini Municipality has invested substantial sums in internships, industry related training programmes, networking sessions as well as various lifestyle and modelling programmes and boot camps over the years, which the current “crop” of New Faces are now experiencing.
