PICS: Rita Ora wears a gown to #MTVEMAs 2017

The world's favourite musos got together at the SSE Arena in London on Sunday night to celebrate this year's MTV European Music Awards (EMAs).

While the artists had their eyes on the awards we had our eyes on the red carpet to check out what our favourites wore. There was the good, the bad and then there was Rita Ora — in a gown.

The singer seemed to have run out of time when getting ready for the night and decided to hit the red carpet in her bath robe with towel wrapped around her hair.

But hey, at least she was draped in jewels to add a bit of sparkle to her "outfit". However, no amount of jewels could distract from her bizarre choice in red carpet glamour wear.

Since the floor length white robe wasn't even wrapped and tied properly, Rita certainly showed a whole lot of leg as well. Can one call her panties peeking out occasionally a "wardrobe malfunction"?

I actually thought that she just came from a shoot with internationally acclaimed fashion photographer, Mario Testino, for his "Towel Series".

The "Anywhere" hitmaker then went onto stage during the award ceremony wearing a shorter version of the robe. Not leaving behind the towel head wrap.

Thankfully there were a few celebs who managed to get it together to put an entire outfit together and make it out the door fully dressed. I'm not saying they all did a great job of it, but hey — at least they made the effort.
