At the Woolworths Style by SA showcase at South African Fashion Week (SAFW) on Tuesday night, October 23, in Sandton City, Rich Mnisi sure stood out with a collection of ready-to-wear formal and streetwear garments.
The star-studded show was attended by the A-listers of the industry, the likes of Sara Langa, Kwena Baloyi, Melody Molale, K Naomi, Jo-Ann Strauss, Ayanda Nhlapo, Menzi Mchunu and Nomzamo Mbatha- who all shone brightly at the front row, while models strutted the runway.

Mnisi presented colourful applique tops paired with knife pleated skirts, see-through bold printed shirts, fur-collar jackets and colourful knee high socks.
He presented colour blocking, pairing red, yellow and purple together to create a striking look.
Other designers who showcased were Thebe Magugu, whose collection included bold accessories of bandanas and tassel earrings. Wanda Lephoto kept it cool and simple with his men’s two-piece of cotton trousers, and shorts, paired with matching collar jackets.

Mmuso Maxwell’s collection included trench coats, iridescent dresses, applique pleated skirts paired with pinstripe shirts.
The Watermelon Social Club presented a simple collection of sweatpants, puffy jackets and sweaters.
