As we welcomed the presidency of China to the South African shores on Tuesday, we were starstruck by the Chinese first lady, Peng Liyuan whose fashion sense seems interesting.

Upon arrival, where she was shown the ropes by our first lady, Dr Tshepo Motsepe, Liyuan donned a green polka dots collar dress with matching purse, and an olive green coat, a look that we found elegant.

South Africa’s first lady, who’s on the cover of Destiny Magazine Women’s Month issue wore a royal blue flounce skirt with matching blazer, and to complete the look, she wore her signature hair, fluffy curls.

The presidents’ wives seem to be getting along very well as they spent a day at Uthando Christian Day Care Centre in Mamelodi, Pretoria, where they sent out gifts and played with the children at the centre.
