Afropunk Brooklyn was all about the people resisting. Picture: Chulaphoto/Instagram

Dubbed “The People Resist”, attendees came dressed to the nines in thought-provoking outfits that celebrated their unique characters and what each attendee believes in through the title of Afropunk.

We can't wait to see what Afropunk Atlanta and Afropunk Johannesburg has in store for us.

Here are some of the best looks from Afropunk Brooklyn.

The #streetstyle at #afropunkbrooklyn continues year after year to be unmatched. @iyannathemodel this #goddess is still one of my faves this year. I’ve seen only incredible shots of her from many photographers... Definitely continues to be the most #inspirational #festivals out of the many I’ve been to. (I missed the actual festival this year.... but went to The afterparty. .... First I’ve missed in 4 years, but won’t miss it again. ... next year, I’ll have a good camera :) Photo by @manrepeller (I think ) . . . .. . . #fashion #brooklyn #music #style #art #fashionstylist #art #streetwear #beauty #afropunkbrooklyn #lifestyleblog #styleblog #contentcreator #influencer #inspirational #creative #glamour
