The LISOF graduate from Klerksdorp, North West, Thula Sindi started his brand in 2005 as trendy, dynamic, accessible, ramp-to-reality and ready-to-wear garments. Described as “woman of consequence”.
Thula Sindi is the “ultimate brand of apparel that is delicately made, exquisite and timeless – these are clothes that are targeted at the modern sophisticated woman, a woman who loves quality but knows that quality doesn’t have to break her bank, yet not rob her of quality sophistication and class that every modern, self-assured woman yearns for”. Sindi recently opened another store at Menlyn, Pretoria.

Founder and owner of the brand, Adama Paris is from Senegal. She was born Kinshasa and has earned her title of being one of the best fashion designers in Africa.
Paris is also the founder and producer of many fashion events such as Dakar Fashion Week , Africa Fashion Awards and the Black Fashion Week Prague, Bahia and Paris and Montreal since 2010. She recently launched her Spring/Summer range at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Show Joburg.

Gert Johan Coetzee
From the tender age of eight, Gert Johan Coetzee of Koster, North West was already making dresses. He is one of the most loved designers by celebrities, from Bonang Matheba, Minnie Dlamini Jones,Kelly Rowland, Kristen Cavallari and Kourtney Kardashian all of them just want a piece of Coetzee.
He is well established in the fashion industry and has won multiple awards, including South Africa’s Most Promising Young Designer in 2006. He recently dressed Thuso Mbedu for the Emmy Award ceremony where she was one of the nominees.
