Over 25 designers took to Soweto Fashion Week (SFW) runway to showcase their latest collections.

Held at the Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown last weekend, the first day of SFW  was cancelled due to bad weather. However, the other days went as planned and these are some of the looks that stole the show:

Chillidzy showcased iconic looks with black dominating. One of our favourite looks from his A/W19 collection was the orange pinstripe pants with black silky shirt.

Looking stylish in Chillidzy.

Molemo Apparel

Molelo Apparel presented a great collection of nudes. The three-piece set of ankle grazer pants with matching top and trench coat was one of our favourites. A killer look suitable for a breezy winters day.

The sheer trend was brought by MME WE who incorporated it with leather. We loved the nude tulle skirt with matching net top which can also be worn at red carpet events.

Bold and beautiful in MME WE.

Living up to the theme “Winnie Mandela”,The Klossete presented a wide range of African print jackets, our favourite being the hoodie, which can be worn alone or paired with jeans, depending on the mood and the occasion.

Ruddy stole the show with the “city lady who’s mad about African fashion” collection. The mustard suit of high waist cropped pants with matching leather jacket was our favourite. Perfect for the office or business meetings.
