Apollo Brands official distributor of Under Armour in SA, introduces The UA Threadborne Fortis, the latest in running innovation, built to provide cushion, comfort and support - stride after stride.
The Threadborne embroidered upper uses spiral knit mesh for a lightweight compression-like fit that provides breathability, structure and directional strength.
The shoe is made up of more than 66,000 stitches and provides adequate strength in every direction. An Internal ankle bootie provides a snug, supportive fit and helps to keep the heel in place, providing you with confidence to go out and beat your personal best records.
A dual-layered Charged Cushioning midsole combines compression-molded foam on top of injection-molded foam. The Charged Cushioning absorbs impact and converts it into a responsive burst giving each step explosive power. The midsole foam is designed as a high rebound, low-compression set foam and provides a higher level of responsiveness and durability. Thus providing optimal cushioning which gives you a little extra lift and energy in return.
The multi-surface traction outsole pattern of the Threadborne Fortis is engineered to grip to any surface, putting your mind at ease when you get onto more slippery terrain. Anatomically placed flex grooves are added to offer the correct flexibility to the outsole in key areas where the shoe needs to flex with your foot, instead of against it, and restricting it.
