The young actress posted the cover on her Instagram page, rocking a baby pink feathered Chanel Couture dress on the cover with her hair down, and then posted a second image from her Harper's Bazaar photoshoot wearing a Chanel Couture pink dress with finger-less gloves and her own sneakers.

The actress spoke on her multi-cultural identity as a black woman and a Muslim, celebrating her religion, her acting role on shows 'Black-ish' and 'Grown-ish', and her activism for gender equality, fighting against Islamophobia and the deportation of immigrants from America.
Meanwhile, local and international celebrities and fans of the actress commented on her cover, expressing love and admiration not just for how she looks but also on the issues that Shahidi brings up during her interview.
