It’s the time of the year when school kids have their heads in their books, studying for final exams while their hearts are yearning for freedom.
They’re looking forward to long hot summer days free from teachers, books and uniforms.
The almost two months-long holiday is just around the corner and, with their youthful energy, teens can busy themselves from morning to night.
Whether they are simply hanging out with friends snapping pictures for their Instagram pages or going to parties with other cool kids, looking good is a top priority. Teens love experimenting with different styles, mixing things up to create their own look without venturing too far from what’s bang on trend.
Here are a few hot summer trends for them to play around with.

Hottest print
Gingham prints are this summer’s coolest trend; not in a tablecloth kind of way, though. This summer we take a break from the florals with this classic check print. Gingham has made a comeback in all colours and styles. Mix it up with other prints or keep it simple by pairing with a solid colour.
Sporty chic
Being an active teen doesn’t mean you have to wear sweatpants and T-shirts. And who says you can’t go from the gym to the movies? Pick training gear with crazy prints and don’t be afraid to mix and match them. Double up your swimwear as a bodysuit and wear it with jeans, shorts or a skirt.

Be bold
What better time to go big, bold and bright. Keep the style simple and let the colours do the work. Look for pops of colour in details like fun pompoms or go for lumo sneakers.

Mix it up
Don't hesitate to mix things up. Anything goes!
