When Meghan Markle said “I do” to Prince Harry, she went from Hollywood star to royal Duchess. Since then the Duchess of Sussex Meghan, royalty obsessed, fans have kept an eye on the ex-actress’s every move and outfit.

With every public appearance, the Duchess’s outfits have been scrutinized from head to toe. Her outfit choices have received mixed responses. Some loving her Hollywood meets royalty style while others have criticized her exorbitantly expensive outfits.

We would love to dress like the Duchess but don't have a royal budget for high-end designer garments.

Here’s a breakdown of our favourite Meghan looks and how to get the look on a girl-next-door budget.

During one of Meghan’s first appearances she attended the Your Commonwealth Youth Challenge reception at Marlborough House in London wearing a bright yellow dress. Sadly we haven’t seen the Duchess such a bright and cheerful dress since then.

Black might not have been the most cheerful colour to wear to the of Daisy Jenks and Charlie Van Straubenzee wedding but we can’t help but love how the way she wore a very trendy pleated skirt. The knotted leather belt gave the almost conservative look a modern edge.

Much to the Queen’s dislike, Meghan loves suits. Especially pants suits. When she attended the annual WellChild Awards at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, she wore a classic black blazer with a slightly flared pants. She wore a silky black camisole to soften the look.

Meghan's classic shoes: Meghan keeps her footwear simple by opting for either a nude or black shoe. Amazing how those two classic tones complete just about any look.
