LOOK: #VMAs Red carpet hits and misses

As award winners stepped onto the stage to collect their VMA Moon Person statuettes, celebs stepped onto the red carpet to show off their winning outfits.

There were those who won red carpet gold medals while others shouldn't even have stepped on the carpet in the first place.

Let's see who the winners and the epic failures were at this year's MTV Video Music Awards on Monday night:

WINNERS

Cardi B is right at the top of my winner's list. Mamma stepped out for the first time after giving birth to baby girl Kulture a month ago. Wearing a violet velvet off-the-shoulder dress, showing just a bit of thigh, she looked stylish and sophisticated. A dramatic change from her loud colourful outfits.

Once again Jlo proves that age ain't nothing but a number by showing off her toned legs in a silver figure hugging gown with her signature thigh slit.

Regardless of the fact that it looks like she's forgotten to wear her trousers, Kylie Jenner stuns in all-white which worked well with her slicked back blonde hair.

EPIC FAILURES

Blac Chyna did a 2018 take on Rose Mcgowan's 1998 VMA chain dress. It was bad then and even worse now!
