Global Sports Brand PUMA has once more teamed up with the creative masterminds at kid’s brand, tinycottons, co-designing an exclusive capsule to join the wider tinycottons AW17 ‘Altiplano’ collection in stores worldwide. Drawing inspiration from the world renowned high plain of South America, the capsule is set to feature fresh and elevated graphic executions of iconic sneaker silhouette, the PUMA Basket, with an Andean twist.

Inspired by books and travels, each tinycottons seasonal collection tells a different story through comfortable cuts, stylish prints and bold colours. This Autumn-Winter ’17, with visions of the famous high plain in mind, designers worked with the diversity of the Altiplano landscape and its indigenous people, culture and wildlife.
The PUMA x tinycottons AW17 capsule rejuvenates PUMA’s iconic footwear and apparel silhouettes, complimented with the tinycottons ‘Altiplano’ look and feel, translating beautifully intricate South American handicrafts into unique prints, details, fabrics and shapes. Key design elements within the capsule include llama inspired details, traditional Quechua pom poms and the natural landscape inspired colour palette of black, brown, beige, green and red.
The capsule heroes the classic court silhouette, the PUMA Basket, offered in a variety of Andean inspired materials and colours and available in both infant and pre-school sizes. First to launch in the capsule is the PUMA X TC Basket Nubuck, featuring a high quality Nubuck upper decorated with a black pom pom inspired allover pattern. The sneaker is available in two neutral colourways, Birch and Illusion Blue, for an understated yet playful look.
