Visiting KwaZulu-Natal and are not sure how to plan your upcoming holiday? Well, with the launch of the KZN Travel Guide by Tourism KwaZulu-Natal, visitors can access a range of offerings by a click of a finger.
The travel app allows travellers to look for activities, eateries and accommodation effortlessly.
The acting CEO of Tourism KwaZulu-Natal (TKZN), Phindile Makwakwa, said the app encouraged locals and visitors to explore the province.
“We applaud the advancements and critical role digital transformation has played in growing an inclusive and sustainable tourism economy in our province.
“We are ready for these changes and look to the future of travel.”
The KZN Travel Guide by Tourism KwaZulu-Natal will make planning your trip to the province must easier.
Keith Matthews of TKZN said businesses and event promoters were welcome to showcase their tourism offerings and upcoming events.
The app is available for download on Google Play and iStore. The app is free.

There will also be a Virtual Reality experience at the TKZN Ushaka offices. Here, travellers will get a preview of their accommodation or tourist attraction.
TKZN has planned a number of activities around South Africa to promote “Do KZN” Domestic marketing campaign. These events will include the Gauteng Getaway Show in September and activations in the Western Cape and the Free State.
