Meanwhile, two people sustained moderate injuries following a motor vehicle collision on the R102 at the Canelands robots, in KZN on Saturday night.

According to Prem Balram, the spokesperson for Reaction Unit South Africa (Rusa), passing motorists contacted RUSA at about 8:40pm and informed them of a collision between a Nissan bakkie and another vehicle. Reaction Officers and Rusa Medics were immediately dispatched to the scene and on arrival located the two extensively damaged vehicles obstructing traffic.
