Verona, Italy - Spotted recently at the Verona Motor Bike Expo was this - Bimota's first ever foray into the word of four wheels.

It's based on Peugeot's RCZ R sports two-seater and, in typical Bimota nomenclature, it's code-named PB104 - PB stands for Peugeot and Bimota, the 1 is for the first collaboration between these two brands, and the 04 underlines the fact that it has four wheels.

It's finished in Bimota's signature colours of red, black and pearl white, and runs black five-spoked alloy rims on 10mm lowered suspension.

ALL SYSTEMS GO

The go department has also been tweaked, with a remapped ECU, a new blow-off valve and more authoritative exhaust plumbing, boosting the 1.6-litre THP turbopetrol four from the standard 201kW to 223kW, while the front brakes have been 'supersized' to 380mm discs with four-piston callipers.

The rear seats have been replaced by a leather-trimmed box for two motorcycle helmets, the cockpit has been trimmed in alcantara synthetic suede with red accents and the infotainment sector has been upgraded with the addition of two GoPro cameras and a TomTom Bridge audiovisual system with 180mm display.

Sadly. it’s a one-off; there are no plans for production of this unusual and effective collaboration.
