Birmingham, England - BMW will showcase its new off-road riding kit, to go with the new HP2 beetle-crusher at the international motorcycle and scooter show, to be held at the Birmingham NEC from October 29 - November 6

The new Rallye 2 Pro textile suit replaces the 2005 Rallye 2; it offers enhanced joint protection in a range of areas across the body, thanks to new developed BMW CE-protectors with improved impact-absorbing properties

It comes in blue and grey or black and grey, with a Gore-Tex inner membrane and a scientifically designed venting system to keep you dry when it's wet, cool when it's hot and warm when it's cold.

Also on show for the first time will be the new one-piece Enduro helmet with built-in sun visor that flips up into the peak when not in use, the Rallye GS2 boots, ProTouring boots, Boulder jacket and City trousers.

No prices have been released yet for the BMW's 2006 riding gear; South African prices will be announced when the range is launched here in the first quarter of next year.
