They're calling it the 4Bs Evening - and, while it's directed mostly at RAT's, it's not only open to rodents. RAT, of course, is the Riders Association of Triumph, and all RATs are invited to pitch up on their Triumphs on Thursday, May 26 at Simply Good Food - conveniently situated opposite the headquarters of the Cape Town RAT chapter at Mike Hopkins Motorcycles in Bree Street.

That's the first B.

The big idea is to create the largest gathering of retro-style Triumphs - that's Rocket 3's, Thunderbirds, Speedmasters, Thruxtons, Scramblers and, of course, Bonnevilles - yet seen in one place, and because RATs are social animals.

That's the second B.

But the evening is also open to all RAT members, no matter what model they ride, and to members of the public who just want to revel in the fellowship and overdose on Britbike nostalgia. The bikes will begin to gather from 5.30pm and the party will go on till the last rider leaves.

R30 gets you in and gets you a burger - that's the third B.

The fourth B, of course, is for the necessary social lubricant (in moderation, of course - RATs never ride drunk).

To put it more succinctly - Be in Bree Street on your Bonneville for Burgers and Beer at a very different RAT Run.
