One lucky visitor to the AMiD motorcycle show at Expo Centre, Nasrec, from August 24-26 will ride away on a brand new KTM 125 Duke with a helmet and goggles, worth more than R40 000 in total.

Everybody buying a ticket for the show, which shares the venue with the Johannesburg Boat Show and Outdoor Lifestyle, will qualify to enter by filling in a form and putting it in a box on the KTM stand.

KTM South Africa managing director Franziska Brandl said: “This is the smallest model in KTM's Duke streetbike range, the first 125cc KTM for the road.

“It’s a bike for the young and young-at-heart, with a 10.9kW, fuel-injected, single-cylinder 125cc engine and six-speed gearbox, and weighing only 125kg.”

YOU GOTTA BE IN IT TO WIN IT

The winner will be drawn on the Sunday afternoon (26 August 26). Ten finalists will be selected on each of the three days of the show and the Friday and Saturday finalists will be phoned to tell them they're in the final and that they must be there at the draw on the Sunday to be in line for the prize.

Show manager Phillip Otto said: “We're delighted that KTM has organised this lucky draw; it's a good example of the support the show is getting from exhibitors.

“Most of the Association of Motorcycle Importers and Distributors members have already committed to showing their ranges, and we'll also have several non-AMiD brands on display, making this the country's biggest motorcycles and quad exhibition.

“Visitors to the show can also see the Johannesburg Boat Show and Outdoor Lifestyle expo, as one R60 ticket gets you in to all three shows.”
