This is the first time German tuning house Brabus has turned its attention to Mercedes-Benz's B-Class minibus and, although the mix-and-match offerings are mild by Brabus standards, the timing has raised a few eyebrows, coinciding as it does with the European market launch of this model - which means the Brabus guys must have got their hands on one even before the media did.

At this stage Brabus has a body kit, suspension upgrades and interior trim packages available, with engine upgrades in the pipeline for later in 2012.

BLING UP THE INSIDE

The aero kit includes an add-on front spoiler (which fits on to the original front bumper) and a new rear apron with a diffuser and quad tailpipes.

The Brabus Boys have also lined up a choice of five new 19” rim designs to take 225/35 front and 255/30 rear tyres, along with a sports suspension kit, with shorter, stiffer springs, that lowers the ride height by 30mm and, says Brabus, improves handling.

To bling up the inside, you can choose from “bi-colour” stainless-steel scuff plates, aluminium door lock pins (straight out of Benoni, those are!) custom leather upholstery and variety of audio and entertainment systems.
