Chrysler is about to go west with a Mopar-customised contingent of creations for the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas from 5-8 November, customised with existing Mopar parts and accessories, as well as concept products intended to elicit feedback.

JEEP CHEROKEE TRAIL CARVER

Built for trail addicts looking for a vehicle able to handle the rugged off-road, while projecting a custom, luxury look on the street.

The Mopar-modified Jeep Cherokee starts with a Trailhawk 4x4 package powered by a 3.2-litre V6; special bonnet and roof topographical graphics are bordered in Crush Orange, with matching orange tow hooks.

On top there's a concept roof basket with orange side panels wrapped in woven metallic fabric. A front wind deflector, complete with Mopar logo, completes the design.

Aggressive tyres highlight the Trail Carver's trailworthiness while rock rails protect it from ill-intentioned scenery.

The seats are trimmed in Katzkin Amaretto with coloured leather in the centre and leather wrapping on the centre console, storage door and armrest, and matching colour stitching on the seats.

The top and bottom arcs of the steering wheel are leather, and painted trim provides highlights throughout the inside.

Other Mopar goodies include bright door-sill guards with the Jeep Cherokee logo, a wireless smartphone charger and WiFi.

The cargo management receiver system incorporates a running bar along the left interior, on which Mopar accessories can be mounted - including, in this case, a roadside emergency kit, Trailhawk bag and first-aid kit.

A Mopar cold-air intake and a cat-back exhaust boost the V6's power output.

DODGE RAM SUN CHASER

It's back to the beach with the Ram Sun Chaser 1500 Quad Cab show truck; with a concept roof rack call the 'surf rack' and two adjustable support rails inside the bed to accommodate longboards.

Hooks on the side of the rails can also carry up to four standard boards.

To wash off salt water or seaweed, the exclusive RamBox bed-side storage features a concept water tank with a hose and a portable shower head, which can clipped on to the rack for a quick rinse.

Surfers or paddle boarders can take a seat when taking off gear or waxing their board with the concept 'Flip-Up' seatback tailgate, which converts into a bench by folding back toward the cab of the truck.

Special 17” beadlock rims with colour-keyed rings, concept flares with exposed fasteners and modified black tubular side-step rails fit the sand dune-ready theme of the vehicle, along with orange tow hooks, a satin badge, and a spray-on bedliner.

The leather upholstery and dashboard, display bezel door-panel trims have orange contrast stitching to match the body colour, complemented by sill guards and all-weather mats.

Powered by 5.7-litre Hemi V8, The Sun Chaser hits the sand with a sports performance bonnet, a 50mm performance lift kit and a Mopar cat-back exhaust.

FIAT 500L ADVENTURER

Mopar illustrates the versatility of the new five-seater, with modifications that give it a tough, rugged look, with roof rails and a large roof basket.

The Adventurer sits on 18” custom concept rims with Fiat logo centre caps, and there's a special 500L logo graphic on each door panel, with the L in orange to match the roof.

Orange mirror housings, tinted tail lights, tinted chromed exhaust tips, moulded splash guards, and a chromed Fiat logo ring complete the exterior styling.

The interior has black perforated suede squabs and pearl leather seatbacks; there are matching orange bezels, orange accents around the speaker grills and around the steering-wheel badge, with a two-tone instrument panel in black with a white leather insert.

The seatback coat hanger, all-weather mats, pedal kit, doorsill guards and cargo organiser are straight out of the Mopar catalogue, as are the cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust, for a useful power gain.

2014 CHRYSLER 300S

The Chrysler 300s Show special comes with a special paint finish called phantom black tri-coat, reinforced by a 13-bar black “Gotham” grille surround, a lowering kit and 20” bronze rims borrowed from the Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition, with Mopar wheel centre caps, while a black SRT spoiler embellishes the tail.

The seats and door bolster inserts are wrapped in Katzkin Disque leather, the seatbacks embossed with the “Imported From Detroit” logo, and matching Katzkin threads border the seats, door and console armrests.

Every piece of bright trim has been replaced with satin black, with bronze accents that match the colour of the rims.
