Ferrari North Europe now has more than 1000 cars registered to break the Guinness World Record for the largest parade of Ferraris on Saturday 15 September during the Ferrari Racing Days at the Silverstone circuit in England .

They previously set the record with a 385 cars at Silverstone during the 2007 Ferrari Racing Days in 2007 and later raised that toal to 490 - but the magic number, the holy grail of Ferrari parades was always to set a Guinness World Record with 1000 cars.

OUTSTANDING RESPONSE

A Ferrari North Europe spokesman said: “When more than 600 cars registered in the first month after this attempt was announced, we stated to think that we could do it - and registrations are still open because we think the recently extended Silverstone Grand Prix circuit can accommodate more than 1000 cars!

“This outstanding response is thanks to support from the Ferrari Owners Club and Ferrari enthusiasts all over the UK and abroad and will create what promises to be an absolutely memorable spectacle.

“Ferrari will also be donating £5 for every car entered into the world record attempt to BEN, the automotive industry’s own charity.”

FERRARI RACING DAYS

Held at Silverstone Circuit on 15/16 September, this is the only event in the UK where Ferrari fans can see the ultra-exclusive FXX and 599XX development cars on track, together with a wide range of historic Ferrari F1 cars from the F1 Clienti department, as well as a packed schedule of races for the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, the Ferrari Club Challenge, and the Pirelli Ferrari Open series.
