There's no denying that Lotus caused something of a stir at last year's Paris Motor Show with its five new concept cars - the Elise, Elan, Esprit and Elite sports cars and Eterne sports sedan.

Then came the claims that Lotus intends to produce each and every one of them, their likely launch dates between 2013 and 2015. The big question on everyone's lips: Can Lotus really pull this off? Will it have the money to develop and build all of these cars?

Even in the best case scenario, it's still quite a long wait but that does not mean that Lotus doesn't have other plans in place to keep sales ticking over until then. One of those, evidently, is the heavily revised Evora - seen here for the first time in this grainy picture that's been leaked onto the internet.

Said to be on the cards for a late 2011 launch, the new Evora features a far more aggressive design, the most notable feature being its larger grille that's been chiselled to resemble those aforementioned concept cars.

A new, better-quality interior is also said to be on the cards for this revised Evora although there's currently no word on its technical composition, but don't expect it to stray too far from the current model's set-up, which includes a Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre V6 engine.
