Independent crash testing authority EuroNCAP has released the results attained by 11 new vehicles and there are not quite as many five-star shows as one would expect with new vehicles. On the upside, none of the latest batch scored anything beneath a four-star rating.

Many of the new cars featured are on their way to South Africa next year, including the electric BMW i3 , Infiniti Q50 , Maserati Ghibli , Mazda3 and Peugeot 308 .
