BMW posted this teaser picture on its Facebook page recently, showing us that it has something rather enticing lined up for this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
That's about all that the German carmaker is willing to let slip for now, and we'll have to wait until 17 August (three days before the event kicks off) to find out exactly what this mystery targa-top roadster is.
It is almost certainly a concept car, given that, in this teaser at least, its lines don't look production ready.
However, word on the interwebs is that the show car could be a preview of BMW's Z4 replacement, and which is set to share its underpinnings with Toyota's new Supra - a car that petrolheads around the world just cannot wait to see.
