Warwickshire, England - Land Rover is set to reveal a coupé version of the Range Rover at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March, but don’t expect it to become a common sight on the roads.

Although the new Range Rover SV Coupé will be sold around the world, just 999 of them will ever be made, all hand-assembled by JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations in Warwickshire.

Inspired by the original two-door Range Rover (below) but based on the latest Rangie, the newcomer has been described as the world’s first full-sized luxury SUV coupé.

All we have to go on for now is an interior picture, showing a luxurious four-seat layout with seats separated by a large central tunnel.

No official word on the power source as yet, but JLR’s 5-litre supercharged V8 is a pretty obvious bet, and hopefully in the full-fat 405kW state of tune as per the SVAutobiography.

Watch this space for the full reveal on March 6.
