Stuttgart - The all-new Mercedes GLE SUV has (partially) shown its new face and headlight signature in a new teaser video released ahead of the vehicle’s expected Paris Motor Show debut in early October.

Details are scant but reports indicate that despite the evolutionary styling it will be a truly “all-new” vehicle, sharing minimal parts with its predecessor.

But given what’s been happening on the Mercedes-Benz technological front lately, the firm’s new straight-six engine linked to a mild hybrid system is a likely candidate for upper models, with a line-up of 2-litre four-cylinder units doing service lower in the range.

Previously Mercedes teased the new cabin with a set of design sketches, and they confirm that the GLE will get a variation of the ‘free floating’ widescreen MBUX infotainment system first introduced in the A-Class, although the sketches imply that in this case the screen will be more neatly integrated.
