Johannesburg -
Defence and Military Veterans Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula will attend an inter-ministerial meeting in Luanda, Angola, to discuss the conflict in the DRC, her department said on Monday.
“The meeting will have a special focus on the internal conflicts and skirmishes in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo,” the department said in a statement.
Mapisa-Nqakula would be accompanied by the chief of the SA National Defence Force and other senior officials.
The delegation would meet their counterparts from the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region on July 2. - Sapa
