Cape Town - On Friday, the crew of a Turkish Airlines flight from Guinea to Burkina Faso played midwife when a passenger went into labour.
Nafi Diaby began experiencing labour pains while the flight TK538 was en route, and the cabin crew responded swiftly to assist her in the birthing process.
Upon landing, Nafi Diaby and her newborn baby girl, Kadiju, were taken to a local hospital for observation.
According to the hospital, both mother and child are in good health.
