Cape Town - Two suspected prostitutes are accused of drugging an elderly businessman and dumping his body down a ravine.

Linda Siebrits, 38, Charise Doubell, 32, and a third suspect believed to be their pimp, Hendrik Boonzaaier, 30, appeared in the Malmesbury Regional Court on murder charges on Friday.

The three suspects from Cape Town are accused of killing Johan Kieser, 65, at his home in Moorreesburg on January 14.

The women allegedly gave Kieser an overdose of pills before putting him in the boot of his Volvo.

They then drove to Ceres where they threw his body down Mitchell’s Pass.

His body landed on an unused railway line at the bottom of the mountain.

The following day Siebrits, 38, handed herself in at Parow police station.

She then directed the police to a disused railway line at the bottom of the ravine.

The body had to be airlifted out with a rescue helicopter.

This led to the arrests of alleged accomplices Doubell and Boonzaaier in Parow and Kraaifontein.

It remains unclear if Kieser died from an overdose or if the fall killed him.

Police spokesperson Bertus Conradie told the Daily Voice that an autopsy was done on the body but the results have not come back yet.

On Friday, Magistrate Herman Pieters indicated that the court roll was full for the day and postponed the matter to February 23 for a special bail application.

The police suspect that both women are sex workers from Parow.
