2 more Covid-19 deaths, 2272 infections in SA

CAPE TOWN- Two more Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded in South Africa, bringing the total to 27 , while infections now stand at 2272, an increase of 99.

Health minister Zweli Mkhize made the announcement during a live zoom public engagement to deal with technical aspects relating to COVID-19 response.

The latest victims include a 68-year-old male from the Western Cape with underlying conditions and a 58-year-old male from Gauteng.
