CAPE TOWN- South Africa has recorded 69 more Covid-19 deaths, taking the total to 1 423, while
the cumulative number of confirmed cases, stands at 65 736 an increase of 3 809.
Of the latest deaths, 36 are from the Western Cape, 9 from the Eastern Cape and 24 from Gauteng.
The total recoveries to date are 36 850, which translates to a recovery rate of 56 percent.
