3) News about the Coronavirus global pandemic has flooded social media and media websites about the infection rates, deaths and what to do during this 21-day lockdown period. But, what do you do if you are sick and showing symptoms of Covid-19?

4) Johannesburg is one of the busiest cities in the world, and with the current lockdown in place, it is deserted like many of the other cities. This has afforded the City of Johannesburg municipality the chance to clean and disinfect the streets.

5) A business science student at the University of Cape Town (UCT) started a volunteer service to help the elderly during the 21-day lockdown.
Describing the initiative on the group's Facebook page, Charter wrote: “Volunteer service to deliver essentials to the elderly during the Covid-19 crisis.
“Anyone can sign up to help and anyone over the age of 50 can sign up to receive the free grocery/pharmaceuticals delivery.”
