Cardamom Tea

Cardamom commonly known by its Indian name elachi, is usually the death trap of Biryani. However, cardamom is very beneficial for your everyday health, especially during the flu season. Oil from cardamom seeds has antimicrobial properties. This means that it can kill bacteria and fungi in the body. It can also be used as an anti-inflammatory and help improve oxygen intake into the lungs.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder

• Boiled water

• 1 Tea bag

Boil water for your tea and prepared your usual cup of tea. Add half a teaspoon of cardamom powder to your tea or buy the premix of the cardamom tea from an Indian Spice store and just add water to it.
