Crystallised Ginger Cubes

Ginger has many beneficial effects on the human body, especially during the flu season. It helps relieve body pain, reduce inflammation, fight respiratory issues and helps strengthen the immune system.

• 1- 2 Ginger Roots

• 3 cups of Water

• 1 cup of Sugar

• 1 cup of Powder Sugar for coating

Peel and slice ginger. Boil 3 cups of water in a frying pan. Then add the ginger slices and cover it with sugar. Reduce heat for 5 minutes and then remove pan from the stove for 20 minutes. Preheat your oven to 93 degrees celsius and strain your ginger slices. Put the pan with the ginger slices in the oven to dry out at medium-well. Remove the pan from the oven and dust powder sugar for extra flavour. Allow the slices to cool.
