If you have a craving for something sweet but nutty this recipe is perfect for you.
• 2 Cups Sugar (Granulated)
• 1 Cup Corn Syrup
• 1/2 Cup Water
• 1/2 tsp Salt
• 1/2 Cup Butter
• 2 1/2 Cups Peanuts (Unsalted)
• 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
• 1 tsp Baking Soda
Grease the baking tray. In a large pan, add sugar, corn syrup, water and salt. Allow to boil on medium heat until the mixture reaches 138 degrees C. Add the butter and peanuts and stir constantly for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the baking soda. Stir vigorously before the candy cools and pour onto the baking tray. Move the tray until the candy has coated all the corners. Let the peanut brittle set in the fridge.
