CAPE TOWN - Cape Town pubs and bars are turning their establishments into drive-thru liquor stops.
Famous spots such as Foresters Arms, Jack Black Tap Room and Franschhoek Beer Company have temporarily remodeled their bars and restaurants as drive-thrus as a safer alternative reducing contact between customers and employees.
Foresters Arms Newlands, one of the oldest restaurants and bars in the country - established in 1852, offers various ways of ordering liquor and food. Orders can be placed on their website forries.co.za or Facebook with the option for delivery or select a time to collect with your order brought to your car.

Jack Black Tap Room, based in Diep River, offers great craft beer that can be purchased by simply pulling up and ordering from inside your car from Monday to Thursday between 9 am-5 pm. They also serve coffee to go and Jack Black growler refills.

With level 3 allowing the sale of alcohol, there are safer alternatives to purchasing your favourite alcoholic beverages with drive-thrus and many online stores selling and delivering liquor which reduces contact between people drastically and in-turn reduces the spread of the virus.
