CAPE TOWN- Global Covid-19 cases neared7 million on Sunday, while the United States accounts for over 25% of all fatalities and deaths in South America are rapidly rising.
Brazil now follows the US with 676,494, overtaking Russia and Spain. Latin America now has the fastest growing outbreak and accounts for roughly 16% of all cases.
Global recoveries stand at 3,419,548 which translates to a 48.8% recovery rate.
