WATCH: Laser show pays tribute to frontline workers

CAPE TOWN - A laser show in Franschhoek tributes frontline workers, NGO’s and volunteers for all their hard work during the pandemic.

Franschhoek local, Prakash Patel, Together Franschhoek organisation and Cape Lasers recently put together the laser show on a church on the main road of the town.

Local businesses came together to support the laser show while practicing social distancing and together, generously donated around R50,000.

Together Franschhoek is a non-profit organisation that has been working closely with NGO’s and residents in the area to help raise funds to relieve vulnerable communities within the area.

Although Together Franschhoek mainly focuses on hunger relief, they are planning to extend their efforts by looking at new ways of identifying households in need, installation of handwashing stations, ensuring that physical distancing rules and regulations are being followed while still aiming to provide additional food distribution spots.
