Empangeni - A man has been jailed for 20 years for raping his niece in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal, police said on Thursday.
Colonel Jay Naicker said the 52-year-old was sentenced on Wednesday by the Empangeni Regional Court.
The 14-year-old girl went into her uncle's room to fetch her uniform as she was preparing for school on March 1 last year. He then raped her.
