North West -

A 33-year-old man was stabbed to death in Bethanie near Brits, North West police said on Wednesday.

Colonel Emelda Setlhako said a 38-year-old woman stabbed the man on Saturday, after he scolded her for making a noise while children were sleeping.

“The argument allegedly led the two to a fight, whereby the suspect stabbed the deceased on his left side of the chest, and the latter fell down.”

The man was taken to the Bapong Community Clinic, but died on arrival.

The woman was arrested and was expected to appear in the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
