Caradock - Two brothers were arrested for the murder of a woman, believed to be their aunt, in Cradock on Thursday, Eastern Cape police said.
The brothers, aged 29 and 33, allegedly had a quarrel with their aunt when they returned home from a night out drinking on Wednesday, Warrant Officer Elmarie Lötz said.
The two allegedly attacked her around midnight. She fell, hitting her head on the kitchen unit. Lötz said the pair stayed with the woman in Steenbok Street, Michausdal.
The two would appear in the Cradock Magistrate's Court soon on a murder charge. The motive was still unclear.
