Cops make huge dagga bust

Port Elizabeth - Three men were arrested for allegedly being in possession of 30 bags of dagga near the Ramatsiliso border post on Wednesday, Eastern Cape police said.

Major Ernest Sigobe said the three, aged 23, 29, and 43, were found with 30 bags of dagga weighing 1243kg.

It had an estimated street value of R1 024 300.

The men were believed to be on their way to the Western Cape.

They would appear in the Maluti Magistrate's Court on Thursday. - Sapa
