Johannesburg - Stolen Woolworths products worth about R700 000 were recovered in a warehouse in Amalgam on Wednesday, Gauteng police said.
A 37-year-old Ethiopian man who was arrested on Tuesday gave police information about the goods at the warehouse, said Warrant Officer Gordon Billing.
The man was arrested in a separate case involving the hijacking of a truck with Unilever products in Boksburg North in June.
A truck carrying Woolworths products was hijacked in June in Heidelberg.
Police recovered Woolworths goods worth about R1.2 million at a storage facility in Bramley in July.
The Ethiopian man was facing charges of possession of suspected stolen property.
