Johannesburg - A man was arrested when he was found in possession of drugs with an estimated street value of R80 000 in Benoni, on the East Rand, on Tuesday, police said.
Captain Mack Mngomezulu said the 32-year-old Nigerian man was found with packets of drugs in his rented room in Northmead.
“They found shopping bags with plenty of small bags containing a white substance, pink tablets which were narcotics, ecstasy, rocks and empty spice bottles.”
The man was expected to appear in the Benoni Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. - Sapa
