North West - A 26-year-old man died after a lengthy argument over change at the weekend, North West police said on Sunday.
He and a 28-year-old man quarrelled over the money at a tavern in Magogong village and the argument continued later at a house in the area, Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said.
According to the police report, during the argument the younger man tried to throw a brick at a television set and was beaten with an iron rod until he weakened.
He was found dead a distance away from the house the next morning.
The 28-year-old man was arrested and will appear in court on Monday. - Sapa
